MSC Cruises has updated its pre-cruise testing protocols for shorter voyages, dropping pre-cruise COVID testing for vaccinated guests, and hopes to bring more changes soon. Carnival Cruise Line has welcomed 3 million guests since its July 2021 restart, with a quarter of the port calls being in Cozumel, Mexico. Glacier Bay National Park in Alaska has started a new environmental cruise ship inspection program.
